You can scrub the carpet with some carpet cleaner. It cleans all the grime and dust from the carpet and removes stubborn stains. 

Prepare for Cleaning

After you remove the carpets to clean them separately, you have the space where they used to lie. The space is also dirty and needs cleaning. Go in with a car cleaner and thoroughly clean the space.
